I'm an IT specialist by day, bug-squashing problem-solving developer and designer by night. I have over 2 years of professional IT solutions experience. Prior to that, I studied computer science at Georgia Southern University.
Retro and indie video games, music lover, reading, TV buff, drawing, and hiking.
The short answer is it appeals to my unquenchable curiosity. The power and enablement that computers can help to create is fascinating. Coming from a financially burdened household growing up, I cannot think of a greater single purchase tool to aid in leveling the playing field. That feeling of unshakable curiosity seeing cursor blink on the bios for the first time has never left me. It led me down a path of tinkering with Vista DDL files and flashing the latest Windows Mobile ROMs coming off of XDA onto a Palm. This eventually led to me pursuing a degree in computer science and looking to software development as a career path so that I could participate in this life transforming industry.
